Transportation
The Cullman County Board of Education Transportation Department provides the safest, most efficient bus service for students to and from their zoned school. We also provide safe transportation for athletic and academic trips.
With 111 a.m./p.m. routes, 24 vocational trips, 2 transition trips, 8 varying shuttle trips, 1 Alternative school trip, and 1 Credit Recovery trip, Cullman County School buses transport approximately 5,500 students daily to and from schools. We have a fleet of 150 total school buses that transport students approximately 4,300 miles per day. 127 are regular route 72 passenger buses and 23 are Special Needs Buses.
The Cullman County Board of Education Transportation Department consistently ranks and receives yearly recognition from the Alabama State Department of Education Transportation Department for exemplary school bus inspections. Our fleet of 150 school buses is maintained by a staff of six state-certified mechanics.
