Most of our schools have basketball games and other activities tonight (Tuesday 11/29/22). Due to the threat of severe weather, and the latest guidance from the National Weather Service, start times for after-school events are being adjusted so everything can be finished by 7pm.
Two exceptional educators were recognized at Thursday's board meeting. Vinemont High's Shannon Bridges recently received The Society for Science High School Research Teachers Certificate, and Fairview Middle's LaKrishia Hailey earned National Board certification. Congratulations!

Brian Sharp, Randy Burks, and Sara Allen were recognized for going above and beyond in support of our school system. Each receive the Cullman County Schools e5 Exceptional Service Award at Thursday night's board meeting. Brian volunteers his time, helping the students at Hanceville High with various projects. Randy Burks is a big supporter of Holly Pond and broadcasts dozens of games each year. Sara Allen is a teacher at Fairview Middle school who was recognized by one of her peers for the excellent job she does each day. Thanks to Brian, Randy, and Sara for all you do for Cullman County students!
Our lunchrooms are serving traditional Thanksgiving meals today. While we are on the subject of thankfulness, we certainly appreciate our entire CNP staff for all you do throughout the year!
CATA, CDC, and all Vinemont schools will dismiss at 1:30pm today (Thursday 11/17/22) due to lack of water on these campuses. Buses will run normal routes beginning at 1:30.
