Good Afternoon,
As you know, because our Covid related absences were above 15%, we have been requiring masks. I am proud to say that our Covid related absentee rate has come down considerably since we are not having to send student home as close contacts while wearing a mask. This is great because we want our student at Good Hope High School to be at school and hot have to learn remotely. In an effort to help these numbers continue to go down and get all of our students back at school, we will not be requiring masks after today, Sept. 17th. Beginning Monday, masks will not be required at Good Hope High School, but they will be highly recommended considering students do not have to be sent home if they are wearing a mask. Please consider having your child continue to wear his or her mask for a little longer. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work our way through this pandemic.
Tonight is the first home MS/JV football game. Tickets are only sold through GoFan. They easiest way to buy and redeem tickets is through their app. We hope to see everyone tonight.

The county cheer competition is quickly approaching. We hope everyone can come out and support our girls.
Cullman County School campuses will be closed Tuesday 8/31/21 due to the threat of severe weather. Students and staff will work remotely.

Unfortunately, our football game against West Point has been canceled. Also, our volleyball tournament that was scheduled for Saturday has also been canceled. We will provide further updates on any cancelations as they become available. Thank you for your support and understanding during these unprecedented times.
Good Hope High School currently has an absentee rate above 20 percent. As a result. beginning Friday Morning, August 27th Good Hope High School will be on remote learning through Thursday, September 9th; students will return on September 10th. Masks will be required through Friday, September 17th once returning to on-campus learning. Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom while on remote. Please contact the school if no internet access is available to you, and work packets will be made available. Meals will be available for pick up on Wednesdays while on remote learning. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work our way through this pandemic.

Good Hope High School currently has an absentee rate above 15 percent. As a result, beginning tomorrow, it is required for all students at Good Hope High School to wear a mask while indoors. Masks will be required until our absentee rate falls below 15 percent. If our numbers continue to rise, we will have to transition to remote learning.
